Corgi Seagrave K Fire Engine Baltimore MD
An invaluable piece of fire apparatus history during the 1960s and 1970s, the K featured the cab-forward design that became so popular for fire rescue vehicles during the late 1950s. Seagrave wasn't always first in concept developement, but they were the best, and this model by Corgi incorporates this sentiment, adding realistic hoses, pump panels, and a deck gun as used by the Baltimore City Fire Department. Note the fenders painted in Baltimore red - a requirement of all active engines until designated to reserve status, and check out the pike poles !
Premier Edition - Heroes Under Fire
Too many times it takes a tragedy before the ultimate sacrifice at a moments notice are recognized. And while foreign to some, the thought of placing duty before self is taken at face value and fiercely embodied at firehouses across the country. As a result, the communities these men and women serve are better for their commitments. Corgi commemorates every city's bravest with this series of Heroes Under Fire, replicating the rigs used by the departments and their firefighters, keeping us safe and making us all proud.
