Corgi furthers the tradition of its fire rescue vehicles and figures by commemorating the Chicago Fire Department. Researched and developed under the guidance of Chicago fire fighters and historians, this series of fire rescue collectibles recognizes the men who have selflessly placed their lives on the line for the safety and well being of the City of Chicago. Each meticulously detailed fire rescue die-cast collectible is packaged with two white-metal hand-painted C.F.D. firefighter figures - created to scale and authentically uniformed in Chicago fire gear. A portion of all the procedes from Corgi's Chicago Fire Department line will be donated to the fire museum of greater Chicago by Corgi's sales. Corgi's Chicago Fire Department Series is available for a limited time only. So collectors and enthusiasts should plan on picking up the inaugural C.F.D line before it is gone.
