Sikorsky Ch-53 G Helicopter

The Sikorsky CH-53 is without doubt the most successful and best known heavy transport helicopter of the NATO forces. It had its first flight in 1962 and is still deployed in large numbers by the German army. The Sikorsky was mostly produced under license in Speyer. To this day, the CH-53 is used with many army flying units and the MHFTR-35.
