First flown in 1951 by Western Air Lines, the 82 passenger Douglas DC-6B was
the first airliner to fly the SAS trans-polar route from Los Angeles to Copenhagen. A
total of 280 DC-6 transports were produced during the eight years it was in
production. Many consider the DC-6 to be the most successful of all Douglas
four-engine transports.
This model by MiniCraft is very nicely detailed. In scale Super 144.
