OH-13 Coast Guard Helicopter

This helicopter is considered to be one of the first efficient helicopters. It was first released during the early fifties. Thousands of units were built and served world wide with armed forces as well as police and civilian operators. One of the various tasks of this helicopter since its introduction was with the sea rescue units. The vertical take off made rescue operations possible, which conventional hydroplanes could not undertake.
