HU-5 Wessex Westland Helicopter

The Wessex is a British evolution of the United States helicopter H-34. It was developed for the Royal Navy towards the late fifties to create a modern anti-submarine aircraft. The most radical and important modification was the change over from the original radial piston engine to a turbine propulsion engine. It made its use more versatile and reliable.
