CH-53 E Super Stallion Helicopter

This large helicopter is the transport and attack helicopter of the U.S. Marines since the late seventies. Some units of the U.S. Navy use the Ch-53 as supply and anti-mine helicopters. Based on the preceding Ch-53 twin engine Stallion, the E version uses a triple engine which gives it the power to carry a pay load of up to 16 tons under difficult conditions. This necessitated a new big seven blade rotor and more powerful transmission and a new larger stabilzer to offset the enormous rotor.

This kit is in scale 1:72 and is big. Made in Italy by Italeri with excellent details.
