On the GI-2400, 2410, 2500 and 2600 series. Press and hold the mem lock so that the indicator light goes off, then simultaneously press and hold the alpha-mem-store buttons at the same time.
My receiver's audio has a buzz in it when I watch bright colors
This is caused by the receiver's IF bandwidth being too narrow in most cases. A lot of receivers use a video IF of about 25 to 27 MHz whereas bright colors require around 30 MHz (Cable Quality). Low signal levels can also do this.
