From the main menu, select search setup and enter your password.
Next select transponder edit and arrow down to a empty satellite slot in the menu, then hit enter. Use you arrow buttons to select or enter the letters for the name as desired. Then hit enter.
You are presented a menu to add the transponder frequencies, polarities and symbol rates. Once you are done entering these, arrow down to a empty slot and hit exit once. Then hit exit one more time.
Next go to the LNB setup and hit enter. Then select satellite and scroll down to the name you just made and select it. Then hit exit once.
Next select LNB freq. The numbers you will use are:
5150 for C Band
10750 for Ku Band
or
10600 for Ku if you are using a universal LNB
Hit enter once, then hit exit once. Hit exit one more time.
Select search, then select satellite and hit exit once.
Arrow down to the "start search" and if you are aimed properly at the correct satellite, have all the cable and other stuff hooked up correctly, you will see the DMT-2050 add the stations into the on screen list.
