Corgi McDonnell F-4J Phanton II US Navy Blue Angels Aerobatic Team
The "Blue Angels" are the United States Navy's precision aerobatic display team and the oldest aerobatic team in the world, being formed in 1946 when Grumman F6F Hellcats. Ever since then, they have performed throughout North America to recruit naval aviators and demonstrate the aerial discipline and showmanship of the US Navy. The F4-J was equipped with two General Electric J-79 engines, a total of 34,000 lb of thrust including afterburner, wich could propel the 44,000 lb fighter bomber to speeds of more than 1600 Mph and altitudes of 100,000 ft.
